The Sports Technology Awards(), a British creation, is the only initiative worldwide dedicated to championing and celebrating innovative advances in sports technology. It is currently run and owned by the sports PR agency, (ENS Ltd ). Launched in October 2013 () with the first ceremony held in London in 2014 (), the worldwide awards covers training and playing equipment, rehab, software, apps, apparel, broadcasting and nutrition as well as team and individual performance management. Now in its third cycle and with the ongoing support of Sport England, previous awards' judges have included Olympic athletes, World Cup winners, international referees and officials, coaches and clinicians as well as specialists from technology, business and national governing bodies.
